| Regripping and reshafting a golf club without anything. 02 May 2006 4 years ago Just regrip a golf club without any tool just with your bare hands!
What you need is a double sided tape, a new grip, and something that makes the tape smooth (natural spirits).
Take the golf club and rip off the grip or cut it off. Sometimes if you are lucky you can even re use the tape that's still on it. If not remove it put on some new tape on it doesn't matter that much what tape it is, if it sticks and double sided it's good.
Take the new grip put some spirits inside shake it then pour it on the shaft with the tape slip the grip on it then it's finished. Do this pouring above a sink or outside is a good idea.
I have done regripping this way.

What you need is a heating source a lighter, heating gun, fire, gas cooker, anything that can produce heat and very strong epoxy about 70kg strength or more is better.
I done it with my Nike SQ lol, the shaft had to be thrown away after this if done wrong.
Just apply heat to the hosel until you smell or see bubbles of the epoxy coming out of the golf clubs hosel then put it on the floor put your feet on the head then pull the shaft as straight as possible out of the head. If it don't come out easily apply some more heat! To much heat will destroy the shaft as well and twisting a heated shaft will also destroy the shaft.
Clean the hosel when it's cooled. Cut the new shaft to your desired length then regrip it and use sand paper to make the shaft tip look like the pulled shaft. Mix the 2 part epoxy put some inside the hosel and some on the new shaft, ferrule will make the shaft like a professional installed. But if you plan to play around with shafts like I did change 3 shafts in a week to see with shaft I find the best you don't need it.

Huur mijn regrip en reshaft schuur voor 15 Euro voor een half uur of 25 Euro voor een uur.
Als ik moet regrippen 5 Euro plus de kosten van een nieuwe grip.
Als ik moet reshaften 5 Euro als de shaft al eruit en hosel schoon is, 10 euro voor het verwijderen van de oude shaft.
