Playing golf for over 2 years now handicap 9 at this moment.
These tips are also my know-how about golf, and my study for so far.
Playing golf is about concentration and technique forget brute force as I found out the hard way.
It's very easy if you always can hit the ball straight.
PAR 3,4,5
Tee Shot - Driver or Iron
Fairway - Iron (par 4)
Fairway - Iron (par 5)
Green - putter
Green - putter
In The Hole
You'll always make par but...
There is more to it because even the world number one can't always hit the ball straight.
Before you even touched a club there is allot thing to think about.
The Swing
- The Grip
- Alignment
- Stand wide and stable
- Relaxed grip
- Relaxed Arms
- Posture Of yourself
- Release the club
- Swing at less 80 percent power
- Think only about the finishing your swing
- Don't attempt any fancy stuff if you are not sure if you can!
The Ball Position
- Driver depending on your swing try around you left feet inside or outside
- 3 Wood?
- 5 Wood & 7 Wood?
- Irons line up you club face and stand comfortable
Your tee shot or approach shot to the flag may come into these hazards or nasty places.
- Green
This is where you want to be, the maximum puts for greens is 2 put.
As you walk to the green try to read how the green is build up.
Look at the pin and the green and walk around the green before you put.
The longer you look at the distance of the ball and the flag, the better picture your brains will create before you put.
- Fairway
How is the wind.
Where is safe to land the ball or if you miss-hit a little bit.
- Rough
Open the face a bit hold the club a little bit firmer.
- Fairway Bunker
Get it back to the fairway is the first mission!
- Forest
Get it back to the fairway is the first mission!
- Fore Green
Grab the putter
Try putting stroke with a iron like 7,8,9 or Pitching wedge.
- Apron
Grab the putter
- Green Side Bunker
Get it on the green is most important if it stop close to the pin you are lucky or good.
- Near The Green
Try putting stroke with a iron like 7,8,9 or Gap, Sand, Lob or Pitching wedge.
- Water
Go for a swim.
Taking the drop is the best option here.
- Divot
Ball little bit back of your normal stance.
- Other Sand
Play like a normal shot.
- Other Crap
Hold the club firmer
- Air Shot
Forget everything and take a little rest and try again
- In The Hole
That's meant to be there, you have to use your hands to take the ball out.
It worked out for hope it works for you too.

- Ball in the bunker you must hit behind the ball instead of the ball.
For a little hopping ball out of the bunker you need to open the sand wedge face like a hand catching the rain drops then hit the sand behind the ball.
But on the fairway you must hit the small ball first, think as the big ball is the earth. Admin SilenT 05 May 2008 (2 years ago) - Try to grab a lower club as possible, if you can put take the putter.
If you can pitch, pitch it.
If you can bump then bump it.
The lower the ball stays the easyer it is to forecast how the ball will roll on to the green. Admin SilenT 05 May 2008 (2 years ago) - Before hitting a ball checkpoints:
Don't forget to grip the club more in the fingers instead of the palm.
Make sure your back is straight.
Make sure the weigth is in the middle of your feet.
Check the distance between you and the ball, by losing and hanging your arms.
Make sure your target facing shoulder is higher because that hand grips higher than your lower hand.
Flex the knees a bit.
The stance must be comfortable or else something is wrong that day. Admin SilenT 18 May 2008 (2 years ago) - Before you start to swing the club:
DON"T SWING THE CLUB!
The backswing starts with your arms but the downswing start from your feets.
Try to hold the club at the back swing as long as possible.
TRY NOT TO MOVE YOUR HEAD!
Because the only thing you need to do is coiling up your shoulders and hips!
If you feel you can't turn further with your hips at the downswing, then trow the club at the target but stay still as long as possible for consistence.
It's simple, just take a relaxed comfortable stance.
Coil up, coil down, throw the club and you are shooting nice shots everytime!
Admin SilenT 18 May 2008 (2 years ago) - Attempt to hit the ball into the ground!
It's not possible because the clubs are build to scoop the ball in the air automaticly.
Try it out don't scoop the ball because the club will do that for you. Admin SilenT 18 May 2008 (2 years ago)
