| Cleveland HiBORE Driver 14 Jul 2006 4 years ago NEW!
The HiBORE Driver is the ultimate high-launch / low-spin driver. Because of its unique crown geometry, the location of the Center of Gravity is lower and deeper than ever before, producing drives that go farther and straighter than any other driver in existence.
For the first time, function is dictating form. Based on a 520cc chassis, the HiBore is the ultimate high-launch, low-spin driver. With its unique crown geometry, the COG is lower and deeper than ever, producing drives that go farther and straighter from a larger portion of the clubface than any other driver!
Head Design
Designed on a 15% larger chassis, the HiBORE driver is the ultimate high-launch / low-spin driver. Because of its unique crown geometry, the location of the Center of Gravity is lower and deeper than ever before.
Center of Gravity
The unique HiBORE geometry lowers and deepens the Center of Gravity as compared to traditional-shaped drivers. This optimized CG location aligns the Center of Gravity Projection with the C.O.R. Hot Spot in the center of the face, resulting in maximum energy transfer with the optimal launch conditions for greater overall distance. Furthermore, 25 grams of discretionary weight has been added to the tail end of the clubhead for maximum Moment of Inertia and forgiveness.
Face Centered Performance
By aligning the CGP with the COR Hot Spot, the Sweet Spot has been increased by over 20%. Additionally, the Sweet Spot has been moved lower on the clubface, unleashing the full distance potential of a driver like none before it.
DRIVER TRAJECTORY COMPARISON
HiBORE:
The HiBORE driver produces higher launching, lower spinning conditions off the face, resulting in a more penetrating ball flight that reaches its apex faster and carries further than the leading high volume drivers.
High Volume Drivers:
Lower launch & higher spin conditions produce a ball flight that starts low and ballons high, which leads to a loss of distance off the tee.
Through the history of persimmon woods, drivers have always been round. As time progressed and technology advanced, they've grown bigger and are now made of a variety of metals, but for the most part, they've maintained the round shape. Up until now, form has dictated function... The HiBOREâ„¢ Driver has changed all that. For the first time, function is dictating form. HiBORE is truly the new shape of distance.
DISTANCE DRIVEN GEOMETRYâ„¢
The HiBORE is the ultimate high-launch / low-spin driver. Because of its unique crown geometry, the location of the Center of Gravity (CG)* is lower and deeper than ever before. Consequently, it produces drives that go farther and straighter from a larger portion of the clubface than any other driver in existence.
CENTER OF GRAVITY FACE CENTERED PERFORMANCE
The unique HiBORE geometry lowers and deepens the Center of Gravity (CG)* as compared to traditional-shaped drivers. This optimized CG location aligns the Center of Gravity Projection (CGP)* with the COR Hot Spot* in the center of the face, resulting in maximum energy transfer with the optimal launch conditions for greater overall distance. Furthermore, 25 grams of discretionary weight has been added to the tail end of the clubhead for maximum Moment of Inertia and forgiveness. Additionally, the Sweet Spot has been moved lower on the clubface, unleashing the full distance potential of a driver like none before it.
GLOSSARY:
Center of Gravity (CG) The center of mass and rotation of the clubhead.
Center of Gravity Projection (CGP) The single point on the head in which no head rotation or "gear effect" occurs at impact.
C.O.R. Hot Spot The point of highest C.O.R. and face flexibility
Sweet Spot The zone on the clubface from where launch conditions are optimized and maximum distance is achieved.
This driver is very very good driver for a player that has troubles keeping their ball straight, it's very difficult to work the ball especially if you can't work the ball well and wan't the ball go for it then this is a must have.
It looks like the cleveland Halo hybrid club but this one just got super sized!
